How to use the golf trip budget calculator

  1. Enter your group size, number of nights, and the currency used for all estimates.
  2. Add green fees, carts, lodging, transport, meals, and other costs. Choose the correct per-person, per-night, or group-total basis.
  3. Check each cost’s participants, fill in unknown amounts, and copy the budget for your group.

A worked example

Eight golfers sharing a $2,400 rental pay an average of $300 each for lodging. Three $100 rounds add $300 per golfer. That is $600 per golfer before transport, carts, meals, and other expenses. Enter the rental as a total so the nights are not counted twice.

Questions, answered.

How are golf trip costs split?

Each expense is divided among the participants entered for that row. The headline per-golfer figure is the whole group’s average, not an individual invoice when participation differs.

What happens if someone drops out?

The scenario holds group-total expenses fixed while reducing per-person charges. It assumes one fewer participant shares each affected cost. Refunds, cancellation fees, and room changes need to be entered separately.

Should I add the deposit as another expense?

A deposit is part of the booking cost. Enter the full cost once to avoid counting the deposit twice. The calculator estimates costs; it does not track who has paid.
